IMIX LABS.

Small apps, built to last. iMix Labs is the studio behind Arcana Origin, Gildhour, Gem Habits and the micro apps that follow: private by default, offline where it matters, one release at a time.

§01 Manifest

Every app the studio has in flight, with its real status. Nothing listed here is a mock-up.

§02 Principles

Four rules every app in the manifest is checked against before it ships.

Private by default

No account unless the app truly needs one. No trackers. Data stays on the device, and when it must travel, it is encrypted and kept for as short a time as the feature allows.

Offline where it matters

Field tools work without a signal. Reports, logs and timers never wait for a server. Sync, when it exists, is an upgrade and never a requirement.

Native where it matters

iPhone and Apple Watch apps are built in Swift. Cross-platform tools are used only where the product gains from being on both stores at once.

Nothing loads before you say yes

On every site, no third-party script, font or pixel runs before consent. This page loads nothing from anyone else at all.

§03 The sign

Imix · first of the twenty day signs of the Maya tzolk'in.

Imix · waterlily blossom, after the standard glyph form

Imix opens the count. In the 260-day tzolk'in it is day one, the sign of beginnings, water and first nourishment. The glyph is a waterlily (Nymphaea ampla) seen from below: a dark centre ringed with dots, petals drawn as parallel lines, three scrolls at the base. In its animate form it is the Water Serpent, the first snake, the essence of water, the one that raised the earth.

That is the job of a studio: begin things, feed them, and keep them afloat. Every app here starts as a small, complete release and grows only when people use it.

§04 Release readiness

The review every app passes before a store or a domain sees it. Same list, every time.
